The interesting thing about latex is that it is a huge part of our society, often without being noticed. For example, carpet backing, pencil erasers, baby pacifiers, wheelchair tires, toys, balloons, and even elastic in clothing is latex. However, most people relate latex to adhesive tape used in hospitals, which is yet another example. Because so many people have latex allergy and the number of things made from latex is growing, symptoms are on the rise.

Take the healthcare industry for example – this particular area is surrounded by latex in the form of tape, surgical gloves, disposable syringes, and blood pressure cuffs. Because doctor’s offices, clinics, and hospitals use so much latex, the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health have released results of a study that show a minimum of 12% of all healthcare workers eventually deal with some level of latex allergy. Even so, the biggest concern regarding latex allergy relates to children with disability since their small, sick bodies are highly sensitive and susceptible, putting them at greater risk.

Keep in mind that when it comes to latex allergy, there are many different forms of reaction, some minor and some major. For instance, a Type 1 latex allergy is considered as hypersensitive, which produces symptoms ranging from minor such as watery eyes and a runny nose to more severe problems that would include nausea and vomiting, hives, and shortness of breath. With Type 1, the problem is that latex particles become airborne and then inhaled.

For Type 4 latex allergy, the reaction is limited to any exposed area. This would include someone having surgery and the bandages being held on by latex tape. The result is a skin rash and irritation, swelling, and redness that typically lasts anywhere from 24 to 48 hours. Obviously, this type of latex allergy is not nearly as serious although it is quite frustrating.

Keep in mind that latex is actually a natural product that comes from a rubber tree’s sap. Because it is so flexible, strong, and costs very little to manufacture, it takes first place over many similar manmade products. If you suspect that you have a latex allergy, you can see your doctor for a thorough examination and blood work. This test involves looking at a certain antibody called IgE immunoassays, which is performed through skin testing.

This particular test is currently being approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and while it is highly accurate for proving latex allergy, it is not designed to determine the severity of the allergy. Therefore, in addition to the testing, if you have reaction to latex, you should avoid using it, turning instead to vinyl or plastic.

The following article points out the benifits of fuilvic acid. You must be cautious if you have allergic reactions to fulvic acid. If so thismay not be for you.

Fulvic Acid – Discover The Key To Staying Younger, Healthier, And More Energized

Please read on to discover how you can instantly boost your health and vitality as a result of the most astounding experiment in medical history.
Dr. Alexis Carrell, a Nobel Prize winner, researched experimental surgery, did ground-breaking work with human blood vessels, and was a pioneer of organ transplants.

Dr. Carrell took cells from the heart of a dead chicken. He put them in a solution of minerals and nutrients. He kept these cells alive for 28 years. They remained amazingly healthy. And they never aged, never got sick, and didn’t die!

In the conclusion of the experiment Dr.Carrell stated, "Renew this fluid at intervals, give the cells what they require for nutrition and, as far as we know, the pulsation of life may go on forever."
All you need to do is two things, renew the fluid and give the cells what they need for nutrition.

You see, as you age your cells aren’t able to dispose of their wastes as well as when you were young. Natural acid salts build up in the walls of your cells, and they get stiffer and thicker.
Because the cell walls get thicker they cannot let as much vital nutrients and oxygen into your cells.

It’s also essential to wash away the waste and toxins your cells produce. That’s because the day Dr. Carrell stopped changing the solution and giving nutrients the cells died.

You must flush away wastes before they eat into the cells of your veins, arteries, and heart weakening and aging you.

The most dangerous wastes that are building up in your system now are acid wastes. I am almost 100% certain that you are building up a dangerous acid overload right now in your heart and veins.

How can I be so sure? Because it’s caused by the modern American diet. Please note, the acid I am warning you about is not stomach acid. The acid produced by a modern diet is flowing through your fluids and tissues all through your body.

There are two ways to fight acid overload.

#1. Make your diet almost 100% fruits and vegetables, which create alkaline in your body that neutralizes the acid wastes.
There are good acids in your body, and bad acids. Stomach acid is a good acid, as long as there is not too much of it, and it stays where it belongs in your stomach.

Another good acid is Folic Acid. It is a B vitamin and is used in your body to make new cells.

# 2. Flood your body with Fulvic Acid. You may not have heard of it yet. But it’s being used around the world in healing and treatment of disease.
If you are fatigued, it’s because your body is being flooded by toxins that have built up over the years. You need to get the nutrients and oxygen back into your stressed out cells so they can breathe again — you will instantly gain new energy.

Fulvic acid will flood nutrients into your cells, and flush away toxins and bad acid wastes. You will start enjoying light, refreshing new energy within minutes. Here are some of the benefits of taking fulvic acid.

– Beat the "always tired" draggy feeling
– Instantly energize your entire body
– Have new pep and drive to do more of the things you want to do
– Gain more stamina
– Look, feel, and act younger

Feel great in the morning with the energy and zest you had 20 years ago
Many scientific studies, like the ones you have been reading about here, have revealed that many diseases and nagging health problems can be made better by taking Fulvic Acid.

Fulvic acid is a 100% natural, pure product. In over 1000 published reports, not one dangerous side effect has been published. You are completely safe.
Laboratory and scientific tests all over the world are proving the power of Fulvic Acid and all the techniques you will learn reading more about Fulvic Acid.

Because you are still reading here at the end of this long article, then I suspect that Fulvic Acid is exactly what you need, right now.
We live in a busy world. Sometimes it seems like there is time for everything else, and everyone else. I would like you to ask yourself this one simple question. – "Is this the time for me to really take control of my health, energy, and youthfulness?"

If you say yes to this question, then I can say with the utmost confidence, that Fulvic Acid will absolutely provide you with everything you need to have outstanding success.

As the following article points out, you can have many allergies to soap products. This can be a problem if you are allergic to glycerine.

Skin care, and the dirty little secret

If you or a loved one suffers from skin allergies or other skin ailments, the cause may very well be right there in the shower.

The other day, I was thinking back to the very birth of Chalet Soap Co, and how it all began. It Began with constant trips to doctors and allergists for my daughter’s skin problems. She had constant rashes on her arms and legs, sometimes so severe that she would scratch until she drew blood. First , I thought that it was food allergies, so we did the elimination diet, cutting back to rice and honey and fresh vegetables. It didn’t work .

I started making pastes from Oatmeal and milk, which my Nana taught me to do when I was young. I found this would temporarily take the burn away, but, as she matured, the problem persisted and started turning into severe yeast infections. So, I started giving her oatmeal and milk baths every night so she could sleep . After numerous trips to the doctor and dermatologist, it was suggested that it was the soap I was using, and to only use "pure" soap. I was so glad to have found the problem, I immediately bought the purest soap I could find. Unfortunately, there was no change. As a matter of fact, the yeast infection got worse. I was heartbroken for her.

Then one evening, while visiting friends, I was discussing "pure" soap with my girlfriends, when a newcomer to the group mentioned that she made "pure" soap, and invited me to come to her house and learn how to do it. I jumped at the opportunity, and was there the next day. As I watched her measure and mix, I was thinking how this was right up my alley, having been in the beauty business.

As we were getting ready to pour the soap, she handed me a pair of goggles and a face mask. She put them on as well, along with rubber gloves that fit up to her arm pits, and proceeded to open all the doors and windows. I asked her why we had to wear all of this protection, and she told me that the LYE was going in, and the room filled with smoky, gassy fumes. I was horrified. How was this "Pure" soap? If it was, I wanted nothing to do with it.

So, my search began, beginning with the study of exactly what Lye is. Needles to say, it became an obsession, and my research led me to a wealth of information on Sodium Lauryl Sulfates. I knew I had found our problem. I then started milling down the soap to dissipate the LYE from it, which is what Cleopatra had her servants do. It was time consuming and labor intensive, and I found that the cured bars were not very appealing. That brought me to the discovery of a glycerine soap base that was SLS free. I started researching herbs and hydrosols , and many other all natural ingredients to incorporate in order to make bars for specific skins and skin problems

That was 5 years ago. My daughter is 15 now, and has never had another yeast infection , rash, or even a pimple, and neither has my 20 year old son, who, prior to that, had terrible back acne and would never take his shirt off at the beach. I started doing research on how to make other SLS free products, such as Shampoos , Conditioners, Body Lotions, as well as many other products. I now sell a complete line of skin care and hair care products, all made with the best natural oils and vegetable derived surfactants. If you are experiencing skin disorders, or if you just want to hydrate your skin the natural way, focus your attention on the products taht you use to clean your skin everyday.

Many people want to improve their smile. Among many ways to do thins is the application of veneers (lumineers). The article following gives questions to ask about lunimeers. One obvious consideration is are you allergic to lumineers?

What To Ask Your Dentist About Veneers

Actress Goldie Hawn has been quoted as saying, "I have witnessed the softening of the hardest of hearts by a simple smile."

Indeed, your smile is a powerful tool. It can help you get a job, make friends, and negotiate your way out of life’s stickiest situations.

Those who weren’t born with a movie-star smile, however, are increasingly turning to cosmetic dentistry procedures, such as veneers, to improve the look of dull, worn or misshapen teeth.

Fueled in part by the popularity of "makeover" reality shows, aesthetic or cosmetic dental services increased an average of 12.5 percent in the past five years, according to the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Veneers in particular are among the top three cosmetic dentistry procedures requested by patients age 20 to 50, having increased by over 250 percent.

If you are considering veneers, the doctor you choose to perform the procedure can make a big difference in your final results. Here are some vital questions to ask your dentist:

* Do you place Lumineers? Because traditional veneers require the painful removal of sensitive tooth structure, more dentists are choosing a painless alternative called Lumineers by Cerinate. Lumineers are made only from patented Cerinate porcelain and are offered by more than 8,000 dentists nationwide.

* Will I need any shots or anesthesia during the veneer placement? Most likely, if you are getting traditional veneers, the pain involved from the removal of sensitive tooth structure would require anesthesia or shots.

With Lumineers, however, no anesthetic or numbing shots are needed. Plus, no uncomfortable temps are required while you wait for your Lumineers to be created. Once the procedure is completed, there is no post-placement discomfort or sensitivity, which means the Lumineers will look natural and feel comfortable from the start.

* How long do Lumineers last? Lumineers have been clinically proven to last up to 20 years and come with a five-year warranty.

* What if I don’t like the veneers? Because traditional veneers require grinding down sensitive tooth structure, the effects are irreversible. This is not the case with Lumineers, as your original teeth will remain intact.
